The Metropolitan Police has launched an appeal for a woman who was last seen in central London nearly three weeks ago.

Samira Ayanle, from Westminster, was last seen at her university accommodation near Marble Arch on 21 February.

The 19-year-old was reported missing on 8 March and an investigation into her disappearance was launched.

Officers have contacted Ms Ayanle’s family and have carried out several enquiries.

They are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare and have urged anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact police.
