Fire destroys New Jersey church

Flames consumed the Fountain of Life Center in Florence, New Jersey on Monday.

NEW YORK – A New Jersey church was destroyed by a 5-alarm fire on Monday afternoon.

Fire officials say the fire broke out at the Fountain of Life Center in Florence, in Burlington County just after 6 p.m.

Children attending an after-school program were inside the building when the fire stared, but all were safely evacuated.

No injuries have been reported, and there is currently no word on how the fire started.
