A terrifyingvideothats been viewed nearly 15 million times since it was posted to Twitter on Monday shows a woman trapped against a doorway and then beaten by a surrounding mob.

Fox News saidthe attack occurred amidSaturdays Teen Takeover in Chicago.

Police on Tuesday said the woman is 20 years old and that a 22-year-old male was attacked along with her around 8 p.m. in the 100 block of North Wabash Avenue,WSB-TV reported.

The victims said a group of unknown offenders approached them and struck the victims several times before taking their personal property and fleeing in an unknown direction, WSB reported, citing police.

Police added that the victims were hospitalized with minor injuries and that no one is in custody at this time. Area Three detectives are investigating, the station noted.What else?
